1. The Percentage Trick

Finding 15% of 80 is the same as finding 80% of 15 (= 12). Use whichever is easier to calculate!

2. Multiplying by 11

To multiply any 2-digit number by 11: add the digits and put the sum in the middle.

34 x 11 = 3_(3+4)_4 = 374. If the sum > 9, carry over.

3. The Bazaar Discount Formula

Original price x (1 - discount/100) = sale price.
